We enrolled our son at COA after I stayed home with him for almost 3 years. I was so nervous about going back to work and him adjusting to daycare. My worries were quickly gone when we met the COA Orland Park team. They are all absolutely wonderful. Within a matter of weeks we saw our son's speech, social skills, and confidence blossom. They did all sorts of wonderful lesson plans including reading, science, math skills, teaching about different emotions and how to handle them, and plenty of play time as well, everything young minds need! He looked forward to going to school every day and was always so excited to see his teachers and friends. They serve healthy meals planned by a nutritionist which is amazing! They were also instrumental in helping with potty training which was incredibly helpful. The director, Heather, and assistant director, Michele are absolutely amazing and so responsive to any and all questions. It is very clear they have a great love for the children and treat each of them as if they were their own. We have moved so we no longer attend, but truly miss our COA family and will be keeping in touch!
Children of America in Orland Park is my favorite daycare around. My son is three years old and has been attending Children of America since he was 10 months old. I love the curriculum they have for my son is always engaged in some kind of activity. I love the extra-curricular programs they offer such as Tumble Bears, Kickaroo Karate, and Soccer Shots that come in and instruct the children one day out of the week, every week.nThe staff of Children of America truly and genuinely care for each and every child that is in their care. The children receive both group time and individual time with their teachers so no one feels left out. Everyone who is staffed is knowledgeable of the developmental milestones that the children should obtain within the age group they are caring for. It is great to hear in the morning when we are on our way to school that my son is excited to see his teachers every day.nManagement of Children of America is the best too. The Director and Assistant Director are always willing to help a family in any way they can, issues get addressed and resolved efficiently, and the best part is management is laid back, easy to talk to, funny, encouraging, and strong single moms who know how to help a single mother like me out whenever I need the support or a good laugh. Children of America is a corporate institution and I also very much enjoy that corporate is very involved within this institution to make sure that not only are the teachers qualified but they are performing accurately as well as checking in with management to make sure they are following protocol too.nThe atmosphere of Children of America is all about the children, they are proud of the children they have enrolled and it shows by all the artwork displayed and pictures that were taken of fun activities and/or field trips performed. When my son and I walk into Children of America every morning we are not walking into a school we are walking into our home away from home. I trust all the teachers and management when leaving my son; there is no better feeling than leaving my most prized possession in the hands of loved ones.
I cannot say enough good things about COA and the people in it. I've never met anyone like the assistant manager Michelle. She is nothing short of amazing, understanding, compassionate, and extremely helpful and that made the experience incredible for me. It's hard to find people like that but i found it and it's here! Once you enter this building you become part of an incredible family and i know this from experience. Teachers care for your children like they're one of their own and teachers turn into friends. The curriculum here is fantastic and the children are learning something new everyday. I would recommend this place to everyone!!
Staff and director are amazing. Clean and friendly for kids. They also have animals in the classrooms and front lobby, which in my opinion is the best learning and hands on experience for children. Absolutely love, love, live this place!!!
Our son has attended this school since he was 12 weeks old. The teachers are very attentive, flexible with our son’s schedule and have always followed our parenting requests. Our son is very comfortable here and that allows him to learn and reach his potential.
