It's a beautiful park especially at the peak of the autumn season. There are long and attractive walking trails. The information could be better. Maps of the trails would be helpful.
I'm sad I drove past this place for too long. I was surprised at how large and how nice the preserve was. We saw plenty of snakes, bird life, and prairie plants. Don't forget the bug spray for the forest section and sun screen for the prairie tract.nThe picnic area 1 is, without exaggeration, completely covered in bird poop because nests line the entire structure.

Really good morning here walking out on a beautiful day
Its off a super busy, fast road and if you're into attention seeking people, this has plenty of them. This isn't somewhere id ever go for peaceful hike.
