Valerie at this Chico's is amazing! She helps put the best outfits together for me and has for years. She knows just what is going to look nice and I always leave so happy with my purchases. She won't tell you something looks nice unless it does. Love her!!!

Very, very poor customer service and store exchange policy. I had bought a very nice sweater for Christmas for my elderly mother, along with some other items. She found out that the sweater does not fit her but since it is now hard for her to get around, she waited for the winter weather (and snowpack) to break before going to the store to exchange for a different size, if available. She was told it had been 65 days and their return policy only extends to 60 days. Now mind you, she wasn’t asking for a refund, just an opportunity to exchange for something that fit. And bear in mind that this was a holiday gift. She had shopped at the store for many years and will no longer ever shop there again..nor will I. With alternatives like Nordstrom’s who practice customer service, there’s no reason to risk shopping at Chico’s again.

I shopped at Chico’s in South Barrington, IL on Saturday, 11/24. I only shop at this location occasionally as it’s not close to my home. I work in customer service and I was disappointed with my experience. I wasn’t greeted when I walked (about 5 min later asked if I’m finding everything ok). I carried clothes around for about 7 minutes before asked if they could put them in a dressing room. It was about 6:30 and only a couple of other shoppers in the store. I tried my items on and bought a few things and when my transaction was over I wasn’t thanked. Needless to say I won’t return to that location.
