I stopped by here for coffee and a muffin on the way home from the coast. A decent coffee and the muffin was one of those that come frozen but is never the less delicious. I do however regret spending any money or stepping foot in the place. I was taken aback and confused for a minute when I realized that none of the employees had on masks. In fact, I saw no safety measures in place. It’s such a charming spot but I imagine that there are anti-masking bullies in the area. I am thankful I had my N95 on and for those passing through wanting a coffee, go to the next coffee stand where they wear masks and actually embody being in it together. It’s a delightful small shop and I hope their community stays safe and healthy despite their irresponsibility.
Consistently above and beyond service and coffee is very good! Deli sandwiches as well as pastries are over the top. Hard scoop ice cream is a bonus as well as the very well thought out gift shop with lots of locally made products!
Cute place to stop in. Very friendly staff. I had her make a beverage that I get at other places but she hadn't made before and it was comparable. I ordered a matcha chai latte. They also have lots of fun little gift shop like items to peruse while waiting.
Lovely woman working the counter was so kind and courteous. Wonderful coffee and food. Great atmosphere comfy and cozy and beautiful gift shop.
Best coffee, best food, best service and best atmosphere of any coffee shop that I have ever visited. The best part is the people who work there...if you are driving through Kalama, you have to drop in and grab a cup...
