City of Castle Rock Dog Park

Well the enclosed dog park is a great babysitter for my pooch as a take relaxing moment at beerfest LOL LOL LOL KIDDING. It is a great ace to run, exercise and play with your pooch in a safe chainlink enviroment.

Great place . Duel dog parks . Gates and leash up areas. Need more garbage dog poop bags, there is a nice picnic table covered next to it

I made a quick stop at 7:45pm following a kid exchange. There weren’t any other dogs to play with so we tried out the small dog area and then the big dog side.nI’m from the Portland/Gresham Oregon area so I’ve got many dog park areas to compare.nThis Castle Rock dog park from my point of view-nTHINGS GOING FOR IT:nIt’s flatnThe fence is in good shapenThe in/out area is a good sizenThey still had grass!nThere’s a cement pad so you can stand on something flat and hardnThey’ve planted some trees so it’ll be great in 8-10 years to have shaded area’snThere were fake fire hydrants- cutenThere’s a paved path running along the rivernIt was clear of piled up poonThere were poo bags at the entrancenIt was easy to see my dog everywhere her wentnIt’s not big or so tiny only a few dogs could be in togethernnTHINGS NOT GOING FOR IT:nParking- you could probably get 3 cars parked if you were trying to be nicenThere’s a covered area with a picnic table, interesting but I wouldn’t ever encourage someone to bring a dog and then hang out under the cover, it’s not very responsiblenI’m sure at some point in the fall/winter the park is a big mud pienI didn’t find any water source(it was dark so I could have missed it)nIt was hard to find- for a outside like me - coming to a dead end and not seeing any signs ( I was lucky enough to pull up as someone who was local was leaving)

Good dog park just along the path. You can sit in the sheltered picnic area. There is a fenced in section to let your dog roam off leash complete with fire hydrant decorations!
