Bring bug guard if you want to stay for sunset
Place has real sand
I often add the loop through the park to my run on the dike trail; midweek autumn & winter afternoons it's not unusual to have the park to yourself. No matter the weather (even heavy wildfire smoke, if you're adventurous...), the park is beautiful. If it's sunny and warm, plan on crowds, regardless of day or time. Any other weather, look forward to calm.
No bathrooms at this time. Beautiful views tho
I love this little gem of a park on the shores of the Columbia. When the river is low the beach makes for a nice, soft strolling hike on a lazy weekend day. Easy social distancing here!
