Coach Don and heather are amazing! They have amazing patience’s with the kids. My boys love coming to Lone Wolf!! I have seen so much improvement in my oldest boys confidence. They teach the kids how important it is to be kind and respectful to others. I love taking my boys there!! Through this whole quarantine they made sure the kids felt like they never left.!!!

Lone Wolf Jiu Jitsu Academy is a definitely a top of the line martial arts academy. Professor Don is an amazing coach. Not only teaching martial arts but life skills and pushing his students to be 1% better than they were the day before. Whether you are a beginner or not I have no doubt in mind that you will be more than satisfied training here.

My 7 year old has issues with anxiety and giving up, but he has the goal to be athletic and strong. We started doing the Zoom meeting Jiu Jitsu class 6 weeks ago, and he has not missed one class. It has been hard work and even though he gets frustrated when he doesn't get the move right away, he has not given up. I am starting to see small changes in his attitude. He has more confidence and I love the way Coach Don and Coach Heather encourage Isaac and let him know that he is doing good and getting stronger every day!! Coach Don has even noticed (through Zoom)ud83dude33 when my son has had a frown on his face. He got him to smile right away and Isaac was able to start again with a renewed sense of purpose. Isaac is my youngest of 4 kids and he made me a birthday card thanking me for being his Jiu Jitsu partner! (Which he made as part of his gratitude homework for this class) Each day they give them something to think about as part of their mat chat. Teaching them respect for others, confidence, and many more important lessons! I am so glad that we decided to get Isaac into their program!

Don and the team are great! Don takes the time with each child individually to ensure they get the various techniques. He does great with my 3 and 5 year old. He recently started a new class with 3-4 year olds only and it went great! I couldn't be happier with Lone Wolf and coach Don.

Almost a year ago my husband and I decided we wanted to put our son in a martial art. We hoped it would help him improve focus, discipline, and confidence. He's an energetic kid who at times struggles to pay attention in class. Since we also wanted him to be able to defend himself, we decided on bjj.nnAfter doing some research we brought him to a trial class at Lone Wolf. From day one Don and the team were very understanding of our son's challenges. Don's teaching style is a great balance of understanding and firm.nnIn just a couple of months we noticed a positive difference in our son's behavior and so did his teachers. He's recently been promoted to grey belt which was a challenge for him to accomplish but one that he's so proud of.nnFor our family, attending Lone Wolf has been far more than a place that teaches our son a physical skill. It's become an extended mentor group who helps our son learn to fail, work hard, and be a good teammate.nnIf you're interested in bjj or have a child who you believe would benefit from practicing a martial art, we'd definitely recommend attending a trial class at Lone Wolf.
