Mrs. Barbara always makes sure when you come eat, that you're welcomed in like family! I've been eating here since I was little, and I've never had a bad meal! One of my absolute favorite places because you can't make the wrong choice!
This is the very definition of a hidden gem. Broadway Cafe is a meat and three that the locals know about and likely love it. I found out about this place because my coworkers took me there. Now it's one of the highlights of my job everytime I work down here. The staff is super sweet and very helpful. The only thing is no place to park, so when a place is as busy as this one is it becomes hard to find a place to park. Outside of that one small thing this is a must see restaurant.
A daily home-cooked, southern meal is found at the Broadway Cafe located in the heart of Ashford, AL. A buffet of freshly cooked meats and vegetables with a free dessert. Many from Farley Nuclear to Dothan, will meet in Ashford to catch up and enjoy lunch. Fresh breakfast, made to order keeps the locals gathered or made to order for GO!
This food is excellent and everyone here is so sweet and friendly. A little pricey if you’re feeding a big family, but definitely worth EVERY penny. Taste like grandmas soul food.
