Well marked orange trail is moderate with some minor elevation gains. Wear tennis shoes or boots due to roots and rocks.

This is a great trail for a leisurely hike. There isn't anything too strenuous, just an easy 3.1 mile trip. There are several water features along Azalea Creek, which the trail runs adjacent to. At the Lost Falls (Blue Blaze) and Laurel Falls (Orange Blaze), I would recommend taking the Orange, as it displays all three water features, in addition to some interesting rock formations. Late summer and early fall are not really good times to hike this trail since rainfall is scarce. The foliage in late fall is phenomenal and the water features are much more exciting in the winter. When wet, the trail can be quite muddy. Although the trail is off limits to bikes, much of it is still marred from the previous bike use. Follow us out on IG @southernwayfaring for some shots from the latest trip!

Confusing as heck - bad signage.nPark needs a color map, more signs and should not use the same color marker for multiple directions.
