So cool to see this even if the Old Tree is dead. Teaches us that nothing lasts forever and we have to protect what we have now if we want it for the future.

Amazingly, this ud83cudf4e tree is 194 years old. The entire Washington State ud83cudf4e industry has evolved around this one tree.

Beautiful park even though Highway 14 is right in front.nSadly, the tree died last week at the age of 194 years!nR.I.P. Old Apple Tree 1826-2020.

We went to the Apple Festival this year. If you bring apples, they will clean and cut them so that you can press them into cider. They recommend a variety of apples for the best flavor. 20 pounds of apples made about a gallon of cider. The reason I didn't give five stars is the vendors unrelated to apples or fresh food in general. One of the booths was for martial arts. Overall a good time.

Super old historic apple tree protected with it's own gate! These apples must be sinful, or sinfully good (when they're in bloom at least). Really hidden if you're not familiar with this part of town, but the GPS will get you there. Park and walk through the tunnel to the apple tree and Confluence Land Bridge. Enjoy a beautiful day!
