Hometown SubarunI believe in giving credit where credit is due, so I’m going to share a recent experience. In late January I accompanied my son to purchase a vehicle at Hometown Subaru in Beckley, WV. I was immediately impressed by the professionalism and courtesy of the staff. Janeen Bailey (Product Specialist) and Mike Shepherd (Sales Manager) were very accommodating. Mike went to great extremes in securing the best financing option available. Janeen demonstrated an in-depth knowledge of the dealership’s inventory. And regarding the specific car we wanted, she patiently answered our every question. She also made sure we were comfortable as we waited for the loan to be processed. The vehicle purchased was a 2021 Subaru Forester Base. We are extremely satisfied with the quality and price of this automobile. Simply put: we got a great deal. I wholeheartedly recommend Hometown Subaru to anyone interested in purchasing a quality vehicle at a reasonable price in a low-pressure environment. I plan to make Hometown Subaru my first stop when vehicle-shopping in the future. (Note: this is an honest, unsolicited review.)

I purchased a car from Hometown Subaru Kia almost 2 years ago. I was in an accident in January and it was Totalled. As soon as I found out that it had been totalled I called them. They never hesitated to help. They went over options over the phone and setup a time to come in. They even rescheduled it for me at the last minute due to bad weather. We picked out a car and they did everything they could to get my payment as low as possible. When we found out we couldn't get it that day because of issues with the insurance claim not being processed completely, they did everything they could to help me get it sorted so I could have my car. If you are in need of a vehicle definitely give them a chance to help you. You couldn't ask for a better group of people to help you. They go above and beyond. Thank you Hometown Subaru Kia. You guys are amazing.

We bought a Subaru Outback, and asked for a base model with no options, which the agent said they found and could pick up from a different dealership with a small downpayment. When we got it, it had a whole option package which jacked the price up by over 2k. They took so long getting it that we didn't have an option but to pay the price for junk we didn't need. I know my credit score isn't great, so I asked them not to run it. They ran it multiple times, tanking my score by over 30 points. They really fit the definition of a used car dealer, even if they also sale new cars.
