Lile North American Moving and Storage

Trusting Lile with our move was a huge mistake. They are one of the worst, most dishonest, and incompetent businesses we have ever dealt with!nWe hired them with Renee as our agent for our long-distance move. While she was friendly and helpful in gaining our business on our initial meetings, the move itself was chaotic and very poorly managed throughout the process. Communication was mostly non-existent and despite what was promised by Renee, our furniture was neither wrapped nor padded. This resulted in extensive damage to our furniture which took a lengthy, months long process, and a great deal of effort on our part to finally be compensated for.nnIn addition, many of our items were not inventoried, making accounting for our possessions impossible. During the move, we could not get an answer as to where our items were and when they would be delivered. Eventually Renee told us they would be delivered after the contract date. We told her this was unacceptable and finally were able to get our items delivered on the deadline day. Since the actual weight of our items was significantly less than estimated, we were due money back from our initial payment. This should have been credited to us 4-6 weeks after delivery. However, due to failure on Lile’s part to complete the necessary paperwork it took 10 weeks, numerous phone calls, and contacting the BBB for reimbursement.

What a dismal experience. The 3 movers complained about their jobs and the company throughout the experience and literally threw my clothing into the boxes. They broke my antique dresser and payment was a nightmare due to staff incompetence.i have no confidence that your company would respond correctly and completely to any damage complaint based on my recent experience.

I was very disappointed in the service. I scheduled to have my belongs moved to Portland, they told me Nov 8 or 15, so I said the 8th. I did not receive a quote on the move, the original quote was $1,400, The final bill when delivered was $2,300. I was tols it was higher because it wqs expedited, which I did not ask for since i knew it would add $600 o 800 to the bill. The movers destroyed a lamp and lost its base. They offered me $6 for the $100 floor lamp, I rejected their offer. I understand some minor scratches and dents with moving but to break beyond repair is unacceptable. The last moving company I used, broke a glass table top during the move. They had me replace the glass and reenbursed me for the total repair. I would not recommend Lile moving to anyone.

I was on with like for 2 years not bad good co workers easy to get to from my location downside yes the trucks were a little shotty and the pay at the time was less then what I hoped for but since I parted ways looks like they have put a lot more to offer on the table it's a grate job even with it's bad days sometimes
