Smithfield Safe Storage was a great place to store our things while trying to move during a pandemic. They were very flexible and accommodating and wonderful to work with. The units and property are kept in good condition and have good security! 100% recommend them!
Great RV storage unit close to home. My only complaint is the anticipated construction. They said it was starting a month earlier than expected and RV had to be out by end of the month. They said that if you didn't have another place to store they could accommodate you. I thinking since a Trailer is stored there it kinda implies that you don't have another place to store your RV
The facility is new, which is nice, and the units are fine. We have had a unit there since 2019, shortly after they opened. Billing is problematic. I had a credit card change and missed the automatic payments. It was a few months before I noticed it. Instead of a phone call they just slapped fees and let the bill increase. Then the pandemic hit after we caught the bill up. I couldn't get into the facility because they locked us out -- even though the bill was paid. Now Smithfield Safe Storage has decided to raise the rents. I'm done. Will be taking my business to a facility that is more customer centric.
This is a good storage place
Lots of regular storage units plus many climate controlled units. Its gated so you have to have your own combo to get in.
I selected Smithfield due to their ability to reserve and pay online. Also, I liked the fact it was a new facility and offered temperature controlled units. Upon my arrival, I was pleased to see the facilities were clean and as described online. The facility provides special locks, so no need to bring your own. I will use them again.
