I grew up playing little league here. I moved up to babe ruth here. After playing ball at the college level I got into playing softball here. I never knew about this sweet trail deep in the woods. Talk about full circle. My son loved this trail. I loved this trail. It tends to get littlered when you get closer to the road end of the trail.
Great softball fields
Beautiful park. Nice paved trail good for walking, running, and biking just under a mile around. Lots of picnic tables. Basketball court and baseball fields. Open area for dogs towards the back. Small dog owners please be aware though, just this afternoon my daughter and I did see a coyote on the trail at about noon. When it saw us it ran back down into the little forest that goes along one side of the park. My reason for 4 stars is there seems to be more and more people sitting in the parking lot in their cars getting high. Also the playground is very small and old.
Clean early morning old timers walking there pets very nice to talk with quit place to go and think relax
Loose aggressive dogs on wooded trail, beware.
