I’m surprised to be saying this after all the other amazing escape rooms I’ve been to, and because my expectations weren’t that high for another prison-themed room, but Prison Break at The Escape Game Dallas is now vying for my favorite escape room I’ve ever done! Every single puzzle and clue is so perfectly tied to the overarching storyline that it really feels like you’re inside the story in a way no other room has. The quality of the room itself is just mind-blowing! There’s no way I’m not going to do all the other rooms they have. Plus, you get a pretty sweet deal if you book your next room on the way out! And they have awesome merch and take-home escape room games! If you like escape rooms—or think you might—then you’ve gotta give The Escape Game Dallas a try!
I took my little brother here for his 13th birthday and we seriously had the most amazing time! This was his first time and he had a blast, the wonderful employees even gave him a signed birthday card! Like how thoughtful! I have done many escape rooms and I can easily say this was by far the most exciting and fun one yet! We will definitely be back! Katie and Jansen, thanks so much for everything!!
Went for my 23rd birthday and had a BLAST. The people working there were super nice and accommodating when we showed up late and missed our original time slot. They moved us to the next time slot, but let us start before then so we really only waited for 10 extra minutes. I loved loved loved the Heist room with it being an art theft mystery. My boyfriend isn't necessarily an art lover but he seriously enjoyed the puzzles and got super into it. The rooms and puzzles get harder as you go, and while it seemed too easy in the beginning, it was super challenging by the end! We had such a blast that we ended up doing the prison break room a few hours later! Another fun one! Can't recommend this enough for something fun to do, especially at night or during the week. Also for birthdays! I had never done an escape room before and I definitely would love to go to this place again!
I haven’t done many escape rooms, but at the escape games I could do them all night long. I brought a few friends from out of town and we began with prison break thinking we’d just do one, but fell in love and ended up doing all 4 rooms over the next 3 days. Every room has a different structure and they don’t feel repetitive, they’re great for team building and bonding (don’t be surprised if you yell at each other during the last 5-10 minutes, though!). For beginners or someone looking for a more casual experience, I’d recommend Gold Rush, it was very fun and employed a lot of teamwork but you can move along at a slower pace and finish comfortably. For those more experienced or like the thrill of getting out at the very last second, I’d definitely say the Playground was the hardest and most unique experience. The prison break was my personal favorite. Overall, my favorite aspect was the fun stories that you can immerse yourself in, we were a group of young adults who enjoyed it but the themes and stories would be great for all ages. Thanks to Camille and Sean for making it such a great time!
I went to do an escape room for my 21st birthday and it was so much fun! My boyfriend and his friends and I ended up doing all 4 of them in 3 days! I think my personal favorite was prison break, but the most challenging and fun was playground. Now you guys will probably yell at each other, but it’s only because you’re right at the end. I highly recommend this for groups of friends who don’t mind yelling at each other.
