Our garage door spring broke on Sunday afternoon and fortunately their office was open. So I called and made an appointment for Monday morning. Lee helped me to schedule and she was very pleasant and helpful. Lucas arrived on time and was very personable and knowledgeable. He replaced the springs and the cables. We were thinking about replacing the garage doors sometime soon and since Lucas was professional and seem trustworthy we decided to get the new garage doors. The overall experience was great from making an appointment to fixing the springs. I recommend them highly for your garage door needs.
These guys are simply excellent. We needed to have some gaskets replaced on our doors, tracks adjusted and originally were considering upgrading the openers. They talked us out of the bigger sale for new openers as honestly, there was no need. With the track adjustments and new gaskets, I would say the door operating is at least 50% quieter! Cleaned up after themselves and even double checked for any loose sheet metal screws.nnAlso, they were very personable and great fun. Price was very reasonable and they came same day. Amazing in this COVID world to find prompt service.nnCarefully explained what we should expect and what to watch for in the future. I am very impressed and cannot recommend them enough. What perfect way to end the day, fair value for quality work.
Our front door lock was broken, leaving usable to even open the door. Lucas showed up the same morning, during the time they said he would arrive. Lucas was extremely friendly and helpful. He talked through our options with us, explaining everything and helping us make the decision that was best for our situation and budget. He had everything installed and set in a short amount of time. During the visit he was very funny and entertaining. We are so glad we chose Thunder for this project. Finally, the price was excellent. If we need these services again he will be our first choice.
Extremely happy with results. Dean and his partner were professional and courteous. Initially gave me a 2 hour window to stop by for a free estimate which was good but then they called back and gave me a 30 minute window which I much appreciated. Within a minute of testing, they were able to identify the issue. They repaired a broken spring, same day, evening and finished by advising us what to do each year for maintenance. Works like a charm now!
We needed to secure our front door better to prevent my father, who has dementia, from leaving the house and getting lost (again). After doing my own research online, I opted to call a locksmith for their recommendations. Lucas came and, after discussing our situation a bit, recommended a solid solution that will help keep my dad safe, and we decided his recommendation was the best option available. He installed a new double cylinder deadbolt in our front door for us, so now there are two deadbolts, and re-keyed the new deadbolt cylinders and another lock in the house so that all of our locks now match our house key.nnHe was very professional and helpful, and he did good work. He was also able to come out fairly quickly to get the work done, which was certainly appreciated. It's quite a relief not to have to worry about my dad sneaking out before anyone else is awake in the mornings.
