Room was very clean. Staff were very friendly. Lots to do. We were double charged for our food but was easily fixed at check out. I love that the pool area was geared towards kids. Water was not very deep. Areas had one entry/exit so easier to keep track of the kids. Also, there were plenty of lifeguards and they were very attentive. I was super impressed with the lifeguard team!
If you want a fun family vacation, this is the place to go! The water park has so many options for all ages and there are plenty of other activities to engage in. I recommend going to the arcade earlier in the daytime because it gets packed at night. There are several restaurants near the lodge if you don't want to eat at Great Wolf. Grapevine is a pretty town w/ lots of shopping. My daughter had a birthday & the lodge brought her cake, balloons, arcade credits and a banner for the door. She loved it, we had a great time! ud83dudc4d❤
We had heard this place was big, with an indoor water park, but WOW! This place is huge. Eight floors of rooms, shopping, restaurants, role playing games in the hotel, ropes course outside; did I mention that water park? Five full sized water slides, two for toddlers with a full toddler area, water basketball in an area aimed at teens, a wave pool, a two story fort with water cannons, sprays, and a 400 gallon bucket of water to dump on your head! There's a burger place and a bar, a gift shop, and a pizza parlor are just outside.nThe rooms are big, the beds are soft and firm at the same time (perfect!). The usual amenities are there (fridge, microwave, flat screen TV), the shower is useable, and with so many pillows, you'll find one or two that work for you. They even thought to give us a kitchen sized trash can, and lots of counter space. My only gripes; the dresser drawers are too small and too few, and there are no stands to put your luggage on.nWe have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Grapevine, taking advantage of the wonderful restaurants near our resort, and enjoying the amenities of the Great Wolf Lodge. I'd rank it in the Disney quality range, if not the size. This place is a great value for your money!
I love this place because is a fun place to gather with the family. I visit this place about 3-4 times a year specially during the winter because we can be in the water with the kids while it can be freezing outside.nLove the idea that they have food options for everyone in the room.nnMy kids love the ganes and quest that keep kids entertained. Rooms are different types you really have to pay attention and stay a few times yo be able to enjoy the park on it’s entirely.nnThey have outside things to explore as well as the location is very close to everything.nnMy kids love the water slides and all the games. I can be floating on the lacy river for hrs at the time.nn100 recommended plus they have a Starbucks in the property ud83eudd70
Great fun for our 2 year old. Will return in the future. The only negative is the vending machines on our floor didn't work and if you don't want any of the food from the few on site restaurants at night which only 1 was open past 9 , you'll have to order door dash or another service if you get the munchies. Recommend loading up on snacks before coming. Much cheaper than vending machines.
