Lone Star Legal Aid

Front desk lady is very unprofessional. Tried asking a question and she cut me off. Then thought she hung up and started talking about my legal problems to the staff and laughing. Went on and on about how she didn’t like dealing with people. Even recorded her. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM.

Unsure why we don't have one in Daingerfield or Lone Star, TX. The first time was unforgettable, this time ????

Do not waste your time. Nice when applying but that's it. First attempt was phone interview & received letter saying I qualified for assistance but there was not enough staff to take case. Second attempt sat down with para-legal who took info but said she could not offer advice & an attorney would be in touch. Never happened. Now they say I did receive advice from para-legal but no I did not. The lady said she could not give legal advice. A few other discrepancies also. I got a letter saying I qualified but there was not enough staff to take the case. No response from local office or head office about complaint. These people give false hope to those in need but that is all. They should lose their funding. Don't waste your time.
