Such a beautiful place. I noticed on a lot of reviews that everyone was saying it's a 5k walk, it's actually about 3 miles to walk and takes a good half hour to get to the lighthouse! The walk is sooooooo worth it though and the beach is so clean, watch people go fishing. There's a little something for everyone here. Such a peaceful, clean, beautiful place.
Easy (aka flat) gravel/dirt 7-mile out and back trail with plenty of forest canopy to keep out the elements ending at a nice beachy area near the lighthouse.
Nice area to hike..and keep social distancing...but still need a parking permit
Watch out for heavy swarms of mosquitos on the trails. There is not enough repellent in the world! The beach has way less. Still a great level 1 hike.
