Carriers and Driver beware there is a gentlemen there by the name of Jeffery Beatty that is a service center, repair shop in the back. Stocky build, very curly hair, square facial features and always has a dip in his mouth. His attitude is always negative, he will try to talk you out of work so he can remain behind the counter. His character brings the other workers down in a sense they do not want to be there. I speak only for the service center when this guy is present. As a local business owner of three different entities I have to forewarn others of this gentlemen’s character and a lack of integrity. He will rob you blind and up charge your invoice every chance he gets. He no compassion for mankind or owner operators. I went there to have two front tires swapped simple objective! I had to monitor the gentlemen as a young service technician was not installing the directional tires correctly and another gentlemen went far beyond as far as effort to do the job right. There was debris in the tire that had to be cleaned out. Me and the older gentlemen did this and cleaned the lip of the rim. The next thing I knew I had over a $240 bill. I have dealt with this JEFF before with my dump truck and knew his history, negativity, and lack of integrity. I explained to him that I knew I was going to be uncharged in this manner and the older gentlemen clearly pointed out the person who wrote the invoice. It was Jeff. I was not shocked and told him that I expected this! He said your in the wrong business if you don’t want to spend money. I Told him the reason people are out of business is because of people like him. His remark was you should take better care of your truck! I replied I have owned that truck for 5 days. I told him to keep his remarks to himself. He said do NOT think that because I’m at work that you can speak to me like that (as if he was insinuating that he was going to kick my A——)-. It does not work like that he said. All the while this guy would never look at me just har smart remarks and was loving it. I then tried to cash out , no cash so I had to wait. Finally the other technician went to the main store to get me my change. I decided to go to speak to the manager. I explained to the manager what happened and he relayed to me that he (JEFF) had smarted off to him that day as well and said I wonder what his problem is. I demanded that he be reported as I will not let this go. The other technician and I walked back and he explained to me that JEFF does this kind of thing all the time. When he would be out on a service call for a short period he would write up a invoice for 3 hours. It’s simply Robbery and bad business. I want to warn other of this service center in BAIRD TEXAS. Drivers be aware. DO NOT GO THERE OR CALL THIS SERVICE CENTER UNKESS JEFF IS GONE.
