As a user of the park trails in Camas, I am very dismayed over the cities decision to close off the parking areas. Users of the parks are now forced to park alongside the roadways, blocking bike lanes and creating hazardous conditions. Nothing is really being accomplished by blocking the parking lots. You could be more effective if you simply blocked every other parking space. This way, park patrons could park off the street in a safe area and still maintain the distance that you desire. When your decisions actually exacerbate the situation, it is time to rethink your policies.
