Shumway Van - Lawyers in San Antonio

I recently used Shumway Vans attorneys for a personal claim. Although we are in the middle of our case, the team of Alisha and Cande have been informative and detailed along the way. I have total access and they even fielded calls while on their personal time away from the office. I look forward to my expectations being exceeded.

I used the services of Shumway Van Law Firm on November 10, 2020. I’m giving Shumway Van an excellent review because everything was accomplished as requested of them. Every employee that I talked with from the receptionist to the lawyer, Shanna Shultz were very knowledgeable and interested in taking care of the issue I contacted them with. Notary Mayra Juarez also helped me get all my paperwork notarized in a timely manner. I needed this situation taken care of fast and Attorney Shanna Shultz helped me do just that. Have real mixed feelings about these guys. I worked with Gerrit on a case and found him to be very knowledgeable and professional. However I do feel that he oversold the case significantly. I am now being hounded for invoices that are contrary to our agreement. I have now had to report him to the state bar for harassment as he continues to email me and am trying to get this sent to fee arbitration. I have worked with other attorney's who haven't been as professional as this group but did not charge me nearly as much and were honestly much stronger returns on investment. At this point I could NOT recommend. Happy to give recommendations for other attorneys who are more reasonable.

I was referred by a previous client and she assured me I would be taken care of. I really appreciate all the hard work and dedication my attorney has put into my case. She was wonderful and I left here feeling so much better. I highly recommend Shanti.
