Stephana is a great coach and teacher. I've exceeded my expectations for this class. She has helped teach me to correct a posture and knee issue I've had for decades and inspired me to continue learning beyond her class. She teaches very accessible to any level of fitness. Her classes are like physical and mental therapy in the very best way. Highly recommend!
Some coaches learn their craft from a classroom while others come from a deep place within themselves. Stephana Johnson advised me from an authentic power which came through an even more powerful and authentic vulnerability. Like any profession, there are many modalities, books, and teachers to help hone the skills of a coach however Stephana has the precious and rare gift that comes before that training ever begins. I have tried many forms of yoga, tai chi, Pilates, strength training, etc., etc.. Very rarely would I stick with anything for more than a few sessions—I would get bored, or overwhelmed, or injured, or just wander off. In between, had a regular cycle of body work appointments with physical therapists, massage therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, float tanks, and more to treat the stress and aches and pains of juggling a legal career, frequent travel and family.nnThen I found Yogilachi. It seemed a little intimidating at first, but I’ll try most things once. And I’m so glad I did. The movements are available and beneficial whatever the fitness level, the instructor cares deeply and accommodates the individual needs of each student, and teaches the class to meet the needs of those in the class. Through the semiprivate sessions that incorporate all the best and most effective movements and teachings from a variety of disciplines, and the latest information about physiology and healing, Yogilachi condenses the best mind and body work into each lovely session. The best part is the return on investment--putting in the effort to retrain the body has lasting effects far beyond the class hour.nnMy own transformations have been profound--improved posture, stamina, recovery time, focus, mood, and time! All things we all want more of. As a result, I’m more focused and creative at work, more present for my family and a better human for the border collie. Where I would be tired and sore from a few-mile walk with the dog, I can now roam the forests for 4 or 5 miles a couple times a week and still have energy for all the other things that have to get done. Where I would return from a trip exhausted and sick with barely the energy to binge watch netflix, I now have the energy to wander the woods, which offers much better brain and spirit recovery value! And because I feel better, I manage stress better, I make better choices, I make better progress in meeting my goals—about food, about how I spend my time and about how to live each day.nnResults may vary, but any step toward greater health and wellness is a step in the right direction. I can’t recommend Stephana highly enough! Her careful, experienced approach to working with YOUR body is so unique and so beautiful that you can’t help but be a changed person after working with her. I’ve learned so much about my own body through her teachings and I continue to learn each time I’m with her. This is EXACTLY the type of exercise I need to be doing to stay strong, flexible and fit…my biggest goals. Working with Stephana will make you BETTER at any other type of exercise or activity that’s important to you in your daily life.
I cannot say enough good things about Stephana and her Yogilachi program. She is knowledgeable, caring yet direct about whats necessary to acheive your goals. She has a great way to keep you engaged and mix things up just before your ready to collapse. Challenging but incredibly rewarding. Just completed 12 week program and lost 30lbs and feel great.
