A great little hike to a wonderful waterfall. The trail itself is fairly easy/short, and I would consider it family friendly (suitable for most ages). This is definitely a must-see for anyone visiting the different waterfalls in the area. Note that the drive to the parking area is on a long gravel road that is full of potholes. The potholes, however, are avoidable for the most part.
You'll drive for a little over 5 minutes on packed dirt road shortly after entering the park, there's a bridge right before the small parking area with the trailhead to your left.nThe hike is pretty easy overall, except for the last 5 minutes which would be about medium or easy/medium level (after crossing the stream) loved the hike and the falls where absolutely beautiful.
This was a very nice hike to a waterfall. It is not very crowded. It is highly recommended.
Nice trail, great parking, awesome falls, met some nice people along the way and we also saw a copperhead! There is one steep area and a short part of the path has a significant drop off. The trail has many rocks and roots so wear appropriate footwear.
