I have been going to take apart since I can remember it is a good place to play with your children or hang out with your family it is open from daylight to dark no tobacco no guns no bad thing your children or should she have a good time here as soon as adult people drive around here they walk around here it is conveniently located across the downtown station in Decherd Tennessee so if you get hot playing at the park or sitting there at the picnic tables you are able to walk right across the road to get you a drink or some or whatever it is you desire so go ahead and take your kids to Decherd City Park located in Historic downtown Decherd thanks and have fun so take your family and enjoy having a good day at Decherd City Park in the beautiful Historic downtown.!!!!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but the playground at this park was the worst and saddest play area I have ever seen, no exaggeration. We met my husband here for a picnic on his lunch break. To be fair, the picnic pavilion was decent. During our lunch, my toddler needed to go potty. We walked over to the restrooms to find the doors were padlocked shut. No signage to indicate whether they ever plan on opening them again. Thankfully, the folks at the gas station across the street were kind enough to let us use theirs. After lunch, the kids wanted to play. Two out of three slides were unusable because of HOLES IN THEM. At the giant swing lot, multiple swings were in disrepair. One appeared to be duct taped together?! Another was completely broken in two. Ripped black plastic was showing through all the mulch. And there is absolutely zero shade (except the pavilion) or even landscaping of any kind (except a weirdly out of place Japanese water garden pagoda thingy at the parking lot). Would definitely prefer not to go back here. Of course the kids still had fun...collecting rocks and having footraces. Not so much sliding or swinging.
