This trail is for experienced hikers. We took our family that ranged in ages from 4-43. It took 2 hours to make it to the waterfalls. It is very steep and narrow and not very well marked. There are several rock walls. This IS NOT a hike to take if you're looking for a family friendly nature hike. If you're interested in seeing the waterfalls you can skip the strenuous hike and drive straight to them. There is a parking lot there.

The trail definitely needs some TLC..many trees blocking trails to work around. I did like that thete was hardly anyone on trail though. The interstate sound didnt bother me, I prefered it over the sounds of loud human chatter while hiking.

Very zig zagging up and down mountain trail. Went in the fall so got to tons a great colors with the leaves. Went more than half way to Little Egypt. Lost way with trees down on trails.

Nice hike and great workout but some areas are dangerous to navigate.
