Absolutely love this area.. it's beautiful and has so much history... miles of beauty fun place to just park and walk.
Not been in 30 years. I love to go up and just ride through look at all the deer when hunting is nodding season. Got part of Mama's Family lived up there next to the gate on Brantley Loop
Oh how I wished this was like it was in the Ol days. Took my son on a youth hunt. We had a blast being together, but not much luck for anyone. Still an awesome place to get away!
The Forestry Department is hiring loggers to remove all the standing Timber someone should be prosecuted.
Beautiful get away! This wildlife refuge is less traveled than nearby Big Ridge and thusly more private. We got some swimming in and explored before the season started to cool. Theres more than one can explore in a single day here!
