This school is newly built and looks great. The faculty and students and awesome. This is the best high school in Pickens County! Lots of respect comes from the students and that is what I like about this school. Not like other schools that I have seen and been to. You couldn't as for a better school to send your child to!
Despite what many people believe about southern high school's, Daniel High respects every aspect of their student body from athletics to the arts which bring plenty of money in equally! Love the new building and the students strive to be EXCELLENT.
Indeed, D.W.Daniel High School is over 50 years old. However, I suspect the previous reviewer has not been connected to this educational community. Presently DWD is ranked the #1 conventional high school in the state. It is overall ranked #3. The student body is a unique mix of three regional communities: Six Mile, Central & Clemson University. As of Fall 2012, the students moved into a 30+ million dollar state of the art learning facilty. The student body is diverse with the exception to one unique characteristic - Excellence, which carries over from education, arts, sports and leadership. We would be proud to introduce any one to our school.
