One of my favorite places to camp. The water is so clear. We kayak here after the summer. No longer that crowded. The waterfalls are beautiful too. Friendly staff. Clean restroom. Awesome place. Coming back soon. The camp site is just near the water. Boat ramp is available to launch kayak and canoes. This is South Carolina' s beautiful lake. We cant wait to go back soon.

Today was a most wonderful experience. I had never been to Lake Jacossee. The day was much cooler than normal for this time of year, but we were all bundled up and it was a absolute beautiful day. Our tour of the lake lasted 4 hours, our guide was outstanding. He shared so much information about the lake, the wildlife, the plants, the whole area surrounding the park. I highly respect this Park and this tour.

Its a beautiful park. We hiked the Oconee Bell's trail. Its a easy trail. We had given up hope on finding the flowers in bloom when my granddaughter spotted a few in bloom. It made our day. And she did a little dance after spying them. They are as beautiful as they sound. The Rangers said there would be a whole lot more in bloom in a week. Hopefully we will go back again. They are well worth the hike.

I think this is my family's favorite place to go camping. Reserve in advance though because it fills up fast in peak seasons. The lake is beautiful and the water is clear. You can see straight to the bottom in the shallower areas and see the fish swimming. Hop on in!
