Fishing above the bridge is limited to the time of year on rather you can keep fish and what you can actually use. Don't be stupid and think you won't get caught because you will this area is watched closely. It is still worth going and if you can go when the time of year allows you to keep fish and use whatever bait you want then by all means have at it. Hiking below this allows for camping and pretty decent fishing as well.

The stream is of ample width to be able to backcast on, if not roll cast. Quite scenic in much of its length. Plenty of riffles feeding into nice runs, pocket water and deep pools. Lots of holdover trout of good size along with weekly Stocking, most of the year. Delayed Harvest from November 1st, through May 14th, from Cassidy Bridge, upstream to Bone Camp Creek. Give it a try. Catch and Release is a great alternative to ending up with too many freezer burned trout that will end up being thrown out. Just a suggestion! Good Luck!
