It was a beautiful visit, they have a park for kids, a swimming hole with rapids, also they have the swimming hole for fishing too! Tons and tons of schools of fish! I would say that the rapids was the most fun because it was shallow water, and there are crawdads( which they can pinch!) And I saw a fossil of a leaf at Daybreak Regional Park under all the water and when I tried to pick it up, I figured out it was a fossil made of mud!! Also when I tried to pick it up, a crawdad came crawling out of it! (Yuck!) That is why I only gave it a 4 star rating.n-Twila2008

Great sliver of the river here.

As from a photographers standpoint, this Park has made it to my MOST FAVORITE photography locations for my fall family photo-sessions!!! When I arrived I didn’t think it was great until I went towards the rocky side and close to water. The view is just breathtaking. @innahudz.photography

Kid and dog friendly! The playground is still closed, but the kids and dog loved playing in the water. It wasn't too cold since it was shallow. It's does get deep in parts though. I recommend wearing water shoes if you have them.

Very nice small family park. Excellent place for swimming and picnicking right close to the water. Has a very nice water rope swing. Shallow enough for children of all ages to be pretty safe. Picnic tables and restroom, hiking trails.
