I have had Salty Dog in the past and remember it being good. However, this experience was very subpar. We looked around the shops during our two hour wait, which ended up only being an hour. We were seated outside and ordered drinks and hush puppies. Both were brought to us quickly. After placing our dinner order, we didn’t see our server again until 10 minutes after our food was delivered (which we waited about 30 minutes for). In this time we had both finished our drinks and needed a second round. My husbands pasta, the $32 fisherman’s pasta, was served cold. For $32 we expected something loaded with seafood, hot at the very least. It had a meager serving of seafood-I think we counted 2 clumps of lobster meat. By the time our server did bring our second round of drinks, our meal was finished and we were cold and sad and ready to head home. My crab cakes were very good though. Our bill was over $100, something I was willing to pay for a nice seafood dinner with drinks and appetizers but didn’t match up with the quality or service we received.

Ms.Jennifer was absolutely amazing. She was constantly helpfully our food was brought out super fast. I couldn’t have been happier. Best spot on the island, hope we get her again!

It started a little rocky. The hostess took us to a table far away from the beautiful view when there were 2 open on the water. When we asked if we could have one of those she became silent and obviously annoyed but did reroute us to the table. Thankfully our server Grace was friendly and efficient! Waters and drinks and our ceviche stack appetizer (which was interesting and.delicious) arrived quickly! The rare tuna dinner salad was very well prepared and Jake's salad (which Grace recommended) was really really good and enormous! It is a beautiful spot and we really enjoyed our dinner and the view!
