I loved this trail! It’s was a nice little hike. I followed the path along the steam. Which takes you to the Savannah River. Then I took the path back above on high ground. I could see down below the path I first took. Very peaceful and lovely trail.
It was an easy hike with a beautiful view at the end! We saw quite a few deer as well!nnA family had a cooler set up with free water on the trail, which was nice. The trail is well marked and maintained. There were a few steep spots, but nothing a beginner hiker or child would find too taxing or scary.nnI didn't see any picnic tables or anything, and definitely no restrooms. But in the viewing area of the river, you could bring a picnic and have plenty of shade.
Nice trail that loops and winds through hardwoods with a babbling brook and ravenes. Leads to the river shore with Spainish moss draping from the trees, southern appeal
Clean, well marked trail with awesome views. Looking forward to another visit soon
Love this hike! Beautiful scenery, small, babbling brook set inside serene woods. Very well maintained trail.
