The Governor Thomas Bennett House is such an iconic Charleston venue. The space is absolutely beautiful, versatile, and unique. Their sales team is incredibly knowledgable, patient, and kindhearted. They do everything they can for their clients, while respecting the integrity of the space. Truly a magnificent venue, we love working with the team!

How this venue has less than 5-stars is BEYOND me! Of our options for a very intimate ceremony, this place was the most cost efficient while still allowing us to have a good number of guests. The outdoor space is so lush and beautiful and the inside of the house is just as grand. We ended up having our ceremony on the piazza due to a stronger chance of rain, but it allowed our guests to look out into the garden and (with how hot June in Charleston can get) the easy access from the inside of the house allowed for our guests to stay cool for as long as possible until the ceremony started.nnThank you to everyone at TBH! We are so happy with how every aspect of our day turned out!

Although we did not end up choosing this venue for our wedding, it was our first runner up. Perfect for someone who wants a beautiful garden wedding, and the location is quiet but convenient to everything downtown.
