I think this is an awesome park ,well maintained but keeps its natural flow.I personally would like to commend the people who maintain this park. There are places here so quiet you can hear your Heartbeat. Thank You for a great place to explore and Meditate.

I visited on a July Sunday; The campground and picnic area were empty. Very quiet picturesque with campsites right on the water. No showers and a notice says the there is no water in the campground anymore.nIt could be a great place but unfortunately our fellow citizens vote for representatives that don't see the importance of these places and will not fund the upkeep. The trails aren't maintained and disappear (no tree blazes in places either). The nice bathhouse was closed and replaced with vault toilets. The well in the campground is broken and not repaired.

Went here a few weeks ago. Haven't been in years. Caught some nice largemouth bass.
