I have been working with London to get my solar panels. He has been tremendously thorough in explaining the process and letting me know what to expect. He let me know that permits take a while, which is completely expected and understandable in these COVID days. He calculated that if we can put the maximum amount of panels on spatially I can almost cut my electric bill down significantly which should offset the cost of the solar panel loan. Plus, I will be getting a hefty amount of money back in the form of tax credits federally and with my state not to mention, the value of my house will go up about 13,000. (The money savings is a perk for me but, solar panels have always been more than just saving money... it's about saving the planet and using renewable energy.) A technician came out and sent the information to an engineer who stated that one part of my house would not feasibly hold solar panels. This changed the amount of panels that could be added onto my house. I was glad to know that they wouldn't just put solar panels on my roof if my roof couldn't handle it. I feel like they are very cautious and take their time to make sure they are doing things correctly. I have been communicated with throughout the process by either London or Chris and feel they both have been doing a good job of keeping me in the know. So far, I'm very pleased with the way things are going.

We had solar panels installed in the summer of 2019. We were very pleased with the sales man. He explained everything thoroughly from start to finish. The installation crew were very prompt, professional and courteous and respectful of our property. The company followed up every step of the way. They worked with National Grid and within a few months we were running with the sun. We started noticing our electric bills declining and by the following year we had developed a credit. We have central air conditioning and we used to have very high bills in the summer, but last summer was a surprise because we generated so much sunshine, we never received an electric bill. I bought solar through Palmetto a little over a year ago. I can tell you it was a huge mistake for us. We were intrigued by the sales pitch of going solar and thought that it would be a good way to reduce some monthly costs and a good long term investment. The first sign I should have known it was a mistake is when the sales pitch didn’t line up with the documents I got after signing off. The sales guy told me we had a little more than enough panels to offset our monthly cost, and then we get an official document saying they estimate it to offset my bill by 56%. I contacted them and let them know I didn’t want the panels if it only offset 56% of the bill. I was then told that was a glitch in the system and it would be high 90%. I have had 0 months where the panels produced enough to cover the bill. Most months I am still paying more than half my normal power bill AND a solar loan. I would have been SO much better off to not install them. I have sent multiple emails and talked to multiple people, but all they do is make up excuses. I wish I never bought them. Maybe other companies are different, but my experience with Palmetto has been terrible. Please contact me for email proof as well, I can show how they treat their customers so poorly. I have also talked with other clients, who feel the same way.

Always glad when a service provider is asking for a review and following up with a phone call. All-in-all my experience was just what my Palmetto rep said it would be. The communication regarding installment for all that were involved was consistent and right on time. The incentive was paid to me as informed. I actually experienced savings within the first year. I’m not sure that all will have the same experience with savings as energy use is different for each household. However any questions that I asked were answered and very easy for me to understand. I highly recommend Palmetto.

Great company to work with. The sales person was informative, the install crew was awesome! showed up on time, did a great job and then cleaned everything up when they were done. While they were installing I called customer service with a few questions, they answered the phone right away and were very happy to answer all my questions. The customer service rep. was so pleasant and told me to call her back if I had any other questions. Great company I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.
