Lies,lies, and more lies.... the reviews on here that people told with bad customer service is true.. The professionalism, and integrity is not at that location. Mr. John just need to go and retire, his thirty years of service of transmission is not there anymore. Like he like to say every time he get on the phone with you. An if you try to call back to get an update on your vehicle. It will Promptly send you to the voicemail... I don’t know bout others Location, but the one on Sam Rittenberg, is a wash up. Just close shop or get totally new people.....

Jon & the crew at West Ashley went the extra mile to help sort put some of my car's troubles. Despite a recent injury, I witnessed Jon & crew maintain a highly efficient workforce throughout a very high volume week, while still maintaining fair communication with their small army of customers. Very impressive group of people to meet and see in action.

I brought my car in for an estimate and John was extremely friendly and he fit me in after a few hours. He was clear, concise, and extremely honest with everything that needed to be fixed on the car. Since the car is 21 years old, I elected not put the money into the car and did not charge me for the estimate.nI would go back to him in a heartbeat if I needed any work done based on his honesty.

I have a 1996 Vw Euro camper. They are known to have trans problem but Holts Transmission took care of me in 5 day at a very fair price it works like a dream. Thanks John and Jeff and that great transmission builder.

I had a warranty with carmax so Carmax sent my car here to be fixed because they didn’t have availability to fix it at the time. My car was towed in, I met it up there, spoke with John and he assured me it would be looked at the next day and he’d call me with an update. Two days had gone by and I hadn’t heard from them so I called and John told me that it would need a part and they were ordering it and he’d call next week with another update (this was a Thursday). Monday and Tuesday passed and I still didn’t receive a call, I waited because he said he’d call after the weekend. Wednesday I called because I didn’t get an update and my car had been there for a little over a week now, at first when i called it kept ringing and going to voicemail, I left a message and didn’t get a call back so I called back hours later, not long before closing. He told me the technician he needed to look at the car was not in, he was sick and would be back the next day but he’s “PRETTY SURE” I needed this part. So now I’m confused because the week prior to this conversation he told me he ordered the part and was waiting on it. But obviously it wasn’t the truth. After that conversation he told me the guy would be back the next day and he’d call and give me info on my car. I waited that Thursday got no call back, so on Friday I called up there and someone else answered and they told me they would let him know I called and he would call me back. I never got a call back. Waited all day Monday for a call back and didn’t receive one. So that Tuesday I called asking for an update because my car had been there for 2 weeks and I still don’t know the problem, he said to me “I don’t know what’s wrong with your car I’m on the phone with carmax” and he hung up. I contacted carmax myself about Holts giving me the run around. Carmax then got my car towed from Holts to my cars dealership, they got it Tuesday wasn’t able to look at it until Thursday because I didn’t have an appointment, which is the same day I got my car back from the dealership, they found that I DID NOT NEED A PART ORDERED, something was just unhooked, so my car SAT at Holts for 2 weeks for absolutely nothing.
