Hi there! I am a nurse at Aiken Barnwell Mental Health. I have worked with a team of caring and compassionate people for the past 5 years and I am proud of the work we do everyday!! Did you know that Aiken Barnwell provides psychiatry, nursing services, therapy, care coordination (which helps with doctors appointments and anything else you need), entitlement services (disability, food etc.), housing, crisis response, community care, school based services... the list goes on and on!! At Aiken Barnwell we care about our community and strive to provide teaching, compassionate care and resources to the clients we serve. I always tell clients... you may feel weak for seeking mental health services but I see you as a strong for getting the help you need! I JUST LEFT AN APPT WITH DR. ENRIGHT THAT WAS FOR MY FOSTER DAUGHTER. IN THE PAST SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN NICE AND PROFESSIONAL . BUT TODAY WAS A DIFFERENT STORY! SHE WAS RUDE , ARGUMENTATIVE , AND ACCUSATORY. AND PROCEEDED TO BE RUDE AND HATEFUL TO ME IN THE PRESCENCE OF MY 12 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER. IT MADE MY DAUGHTER VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AND SHE EVEN ASKED TO LEAVE THE ROOM. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DR TO ANYONE EVER!!! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND HAD THE AUDACITY OF ACCUSING ME OF NOT GIVING MY CHILD HER MEDS. I HAVE BEEN A NURSE FOR 27 YEARS AND KNOW HOW TO GIVE MEDS.nI CANNOT EXPRESS HOW DISAPPOINTED AND ANGRY I AM WITH THIS DR!!!!!

I have been going to Aiken Barnwell mental Health Center for the past two years and this is the first time that I have ever felt so little and uncared for in my life by any other healthcare professionals. Every time I have an appointment with A doctor , That same day they call and cancel and try to reschedule me. For farther out at this point I have been waiting I’d say eight months to see a doctor and get my medications right . I’m so sad that I have to put this awful review on here. Wish it could be zero. Other than that my therapist is great though.
