No social distancing during pandemic. I was exposed and diagnosed with Covid after flying.

We flew on 4 American airline planes in total for vacation. Each was a good experience. We chose not to pay for seats, to save money and the airline gave us seating as a group since we had a child (which I noticed later they said they try to do on the website which is really awesome to me). They gave my son an airplane pin that he still has on his jacket and won't let me take off. The baggage check in people were nice, let us rearrange our luggage so we didn't have to pay an extra fee. On the plane we got free headphones so we could watch a movie together. Just all around would recommend.

Flight got cancelled. At first Reza told me I couldn’t get a flight the next day. My party of 4 couldn’t get a flight for over 24 hours. He said he had 2 seats. Well, I guess my wife and I could ditch the kids and just start over once we got home. They are 8 and 6 and have a lot of basic skills. If anyone would like they were instructed to survive between gates 1-12. There are plenty of drinking fountains and they could start up a shoe shine business.nnThe cool part was those 2 seats were upgraded to 1st class so that was a plus.nnBut in all reality I rejected that offer and eventually, after 3 hours, got a flight the next day and a comped hotel. It took way too long though. I’ll probably avoid American because our free shuttle service said they do this more than any other airline.
