V's Barbershop - Cary

Got a fantastic hair cut this morning with Bruce. After moving from out of state it’s been hard to find someone who knows how to truly translate what I wanted for my hair. My fiancé went to Bruce last week and he gave her a brilliantly blended haircut that was both professional and attractive, and even was able to blend out her cow lick to flow better with her hair. When I saw her cut I knew I had to try him out. I was sick of the undercut look and showed some pictures as well as gave him the freedom to do what he thought would look good and I came out of the barbershop with one of the best haircuts I’ve had in my life. Gorgeous blending, fantastic detail work, and just a very pleasant experience at a fantastic price. I won’t be going anywhere else, they’ve won over my family for sure.

Ms. Diane has cut my hair for a while. We just started taking my son to her instead of the kiddie place and she provided the same excellent service for him as she does for me. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience as always. This time I went with Bruce. I look like a new man. My wife can’t keep her hands off me thanks to Bruce.nnTook all my boys in today. I have 3 boys ages 7-13. When they arrived they looked more like werewolves. But thanks to the greatest barbers in the world they now look like clean cut young men. Obviously that is up for interpretation.

Diane at V's is alway spot-on with the fade and attentive to details. The shop itself is cozy with a welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is always masked and cleans between customers.

UPDATED REVIEWnAverage haircut at best - 3 stars due to the good conversation, haircut is a 2. Finally back in Raleigh and got a haircut at Vs - was sat immediately and told the barber what I was after.nnEnd result was one ear with a jagged trim line that I will have to get my mom to fix, another ear with hair still overlapping and not cut at all (already fixed this myself) and no effort to blend my sideburns into my beard.nnNormally Id chalk the ears up to my mask, but I specifically asked the barber if I should remove the straps while holding the mask to my face so he could have more space to work and he said no. The rest of the cut just seemed rushed and clumsy - more trimmer than scissors when I have longer hair, no clips or hair wetting to help find my part, and almost more than a few hairs on my head that weren't cut at all (only noticed when looking in the bathroom at home).nnSo yes, I do look better than when I arrived having not had a cut in over a month, but this haircut did not live up to the hype and is certainly not worth $30.nnORGINAL REVIEW BELOWnV's is awesome - walked in without an appt just to get a neck and ear trim and Sam had me cleaned up in less than 10 min. I visit Cary regularly to see family and will definitely come back here to get a full haircut!
