Kangaroo Express

I just sat outside with about 10-15 other people for almost 30 minutes without the employees opening the door. I would of went to another gas station but my car ran outta gas as I was pulling in so I had NO other choice but to wait. On top of it all I had my 2yr old and 5yr old with me both of which needed to use the bathroom. I only get gas at circle K but after tonight I'll NEVER use NOT only this gas station but I'll NEVER EVER every get gas at another circle K. I'll rather walk 10 miles than use this company again. Btw next time have more than 1 female working at night especially if she's gonna leave and get missing for 30minutes

I don’t normally review gas stations. Mostly they’re all the same. But this gas station here is my local go-to and has been for some time. The staff is usually attentive and friendly but today I was pretty astonished by a small act of kindness. In hindsight I wish I would have gotten her name, but today I stopped in to buy a couple packs of cigarettes, smoked one before leaving the parking lot and set the rest of my full pack on the windowsill. It wasn’t until a couple hours later I realized what I had done, and I swung by on a whim hoping they would still be there. I pulled up and to my dismay, they were not longer sitting outside, but I went inside to ask the cashier if anyone had turned them in. She turned around to where her personal belongings were put away behind the counter with a smile and pulled out a pack of Newport 100’s. It may seem like a small thing, but it wasn’t her job to set them aside in a safe place for the remainder of her shift to see if anyone would claim them. It really made my day. From the outside looking in you might think there isn’t anything special about this gas station, but I would have to argue that you’re mistaken. Most of the staff with a few exceptions make coming there for whatever you need; gas, a coffee, tobacco, a pleasure. I’m really happy to be in a neighborhood with such kind and thoughtful people. If you ever need anything and you’re out near NCSU don’t hesitate to stop in.

This place has good coffees for reasonable prices

Staff aren't wearing masks or face shields.

They have a monopoly on gas..twenty cents cheaper most other places..need another gas station near by..
