good friend of mine ordered front tires for his car and was told they were going to be there. they weren’t there that day and told him the tires would be there the next day. when he came back they said the tires were there and would install them when he went to panera. he came back from lunch to find out that not only were the tires not at the store, but were in france, a whole different region of the world. The general manager then came out and apologized and said they would put the tires on for free when they arrive in 2 weeks. he spent over $600 for the tires and were going to give him a $20 free service for 2 weeks of inconvenience. entirely unprofessional and distrustful acts from an auto service company

This was our go-to place for new tires for years with low prices and good service. But my last front tires wore out with only 10,000 miles on them so we expected the warranty would replace them. No. They said the tires were fine but it was my poor wheel align that wore out the rims. And they don't do alignments. Nor did they ever advise me to get an alignment. So now we use another dealer that sells tires and guarantees the alignment is true.

Cheap prices are what brought me in but Carl's customer service is what made me want to write a review.nBJ's only staffs one person in the tire center so you have to be understanding about wait times. Its not the tech's fault. Carl clearly does everything within his power to take care of everyone. This man HUSTLES in the shop, is polite and courteous, and was outstanding in his communication of when things could be completed.nWork was completed, torqued correctly with a torque stick, followed by a torque wrench.n5 stars for Carl.

Ordered tires online and had them installed five business days later (one calendar week to be exact). Although I didn't experience any issues in the buying process, I had some concerns about the installation process:nn-Tires are stored on the sales floor of the club rather than inside of a stock room of the tire center (i.e. NTB & Sam's Club). It's inefficient for a club associate scrambling around the tire section looking for special order tires. The tire tech would have figured out where to look since he is familiar with brand logos/stickers and section layout. The tech had to wait 20 minutes for two club associates to locate my tires.nn-When one tire is mounted and balanced, the tech would mount the tire on the vehicle and leave the wheel hanging against the face of the wheel hub at an angle. Why not secure the wheel with one wheel nut [to the hub] while balancing other wheels? My concern is if a wheel stud breaks off due to the weight of the tire and wheel (i.e. some light truck wheels weigh about 80 pounds or more), who will be liable for damage of a wheel stud?nn-The place seems understaffed. There was only one tech who was installing tires on my vehicle. During the installation, he had to stop what he was doing and help someone at the window as well as intercept a phone call at the desk. Such interruptions prolong the installation process. Another tech came into the shop just minutes before the installation was finished.

Cheaper than discount tire but with even better service. The staff were great and the prices were even better.
