Jackson Hewitt Tax Service

You make an appointment and nobody show up ! This has happened twice ! Several of people has complained of the same thing !

I wish I could tell someone how my experience was but every time I have entered into Walmart, which is quite often by the way, I never actually see a Jackson Hewitt employee. I have been in Walmart for a couple hours at a time and I never see an employee at their desks. I am sure that the employees get breaks and lunches however I have found it to be strange that no matter what time it is or day of the week, there is never anyone at the desk. After reading the last review I defiantly feel greatfull I did not have to have that experience.

My experience was one of the worst of my life. I went inside the Walmart to Jackson-Hewitt booth on March 5, 2014. The male representative never greeted me or told me his name, but I looked on his name tag and it was spelled Yugi. The first thing he said to me was; so what do you want to complain about. I didn’t know what he was referring to and I replied I had none. I began to tell him that I came for the advertised special for $50 less than what I paid last year. Liberty did my taxes the prior year and I had no complaints with them they were great. He told me that he could do my taxes for $100 and no less and I agreed because it was only a $9 difference. I began to tell him that my husband was disabled and he stated that I needed a letter stating that and I told him that I didn’t and preceded to show him that we had what we needed from the state to file, he then preceded to take my tax paperwork and shoved it back into the folder, then he began to get loud and said he would not do my taxes. I got up and started to leave Walmart but then remembered I needed to make a purchase and I went to the register to pay and I overheard Yugi on the adjacent aisle, telling a Walmart employee named Ana about my paperwork. I told him I was a customer and that it was wrong and unprofessional of him to talk about my tax paperwork with anyone and his reply while yelling these words were; You are not a customer and thatI(Yugi) can say whatever I want to out of my mouth. As I am walking away after paying for my purchase he starts following me as I leave the store and he is yelling BYE!!!! BYE!!!! BYE!!!! I then leave and go another Walmart in Clayton, NC to still try again to get my taxes done and as soon as I walk up a white man with his name tag turned around so I couldn’t see his name and he immediately says to me; I will not do your taxes and I already received a call about you and that you threatened a coworker in Zebulon. I tried to explain what happened to him and he got very nasty with me and yelled at me and said that I needed a letter and he wouldn’t do my taxes!!! I caIled my husband upset and then went to LIBERTY & THEY DID MY TAXES THE SAME DAY WITH THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I PAID LESS THAN LAST YEAR AND THEY GOT ME MORE MONEY BACK TOO!!!
