A Thyme Savor

I got married on 4/7/21 and chose a thyme savor catering for our food after many recommendations & reading the reviews. The food sounded amazing & I was very excited. They sent over our proposal after telling them the time we would be eating (8/8:30 pm) and we paid in full immediately. Fast forward to our wedding day I get a call from the delivery driver at 3:30 pm!!! I tell him no, we are not supposed to eat for 5 hours, so take it back. The food will have to be remade to be fresh! He says he’ll call his boss. 5 minutes later he calls my now MIL and tells her the same thing. She hands the phone to me and the delivery driver tells me “well I can’t get ahold of my boss, so you’ll have to call her.” I kid you not - I tried calling 20 times!!! Even the “urgent” number. Not once did we get a call back. While I, the bride, was trying to get ready for MY big day. We get over to the clubhouse where we’re getting married and the delivery driver is gone, so we think - okay, he took it back. We again, at 7:30 once all the festivities are over try calling a thyme savor to ask where the delivery driver is now. No answer. So we call again and again - another 20 times at least. Nothing. Finally we get someone to pick up and they have NO IDEA where the delivery driver is. So our food? It sat in his trunk or car for 4 hours. So they finally show up, it’s so cold the warmers can’t even hear it up. I can’t even hardly eat because I’m afraid of the food being disgusting. It wasn’t - everyone loved it, but at least 7 of our guests (we only had 16) have suspected FOOD POISONING. Including myself, the bride. I’ve been sick since Thursday night. I finally had the energy to try and call the manager Liz this morning and again - no answer.nnI’ve tried to email, I’ve tried to call. I just want them to know that they ruined what was supposed to be a great day. Stay away from them at all costs!!! Go with someone else. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Everything tasted amazing! Having out business holiday party catered was the best decision. We were able to enjoy our own party too. No stress. The set up was beautiful as well.

I recently had A Thyme Savor cater a bridal shower. They were so patient and helpful. I booked them pre-Covid so had to reschedule. Last minute the venue wasn't able to host our event and there were a number of changes. Lindsey was incredibly patient and accommodating.nThe food was incredibly delicious and the presentation was impressive! There were so many compliments! The guests particularly loved the shrimp and grits and the tomato pies...the two items listed on their website as award winning!nI will definitly use them again and would highly recommend! You will impress your guests with beautiful and delicious food!

I recently got married and had A Thyme Savor cater our wedding and let me tell you...WOW!!! Their food is absolutely delicious! A family member had recommended them for our wedding, so we did a tasting and I knew we had to use them after that! Not only is their food so yummy, the presentation of everything is perfect! They had endless options to choose from and different ways on how you want the food to be catered! We ended up doing Family Style, so each guest could have a little bit of everything on the menu! Plus my husband and I grew up with the 'Family Style' eating, so it was only fitting that we did that! Everything was cooked perfectly! Nothing was over cooked or cold and I had so many compliments from the guests afterwards about how much they were impressed with the food! I think the star of the show was the Shrimp & Grits Martini and the Beef Tenderloin! They were also so extremely easy to work with and very patient! I changed a few things on our menu and that was never an issue and when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, they made the whole process so stress free! I will absolutely be using them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer! Thank you Liz & Chef Brandon!!

Best wedding/ event caterer in Wilmington. We had three events in one weekend, including our wedding and they catered all three. The food was amazing. We are Jamaican, the chef was able to execute our mainstay dishes to perfection. The food was delicious. The staff was amazing, meeting all our needs, our guests were beyond pleased.
