H&R Block

The reason for this score was because of Mrs. Margaret. She is the best! She always makes me feel like family each year I come in. She always gives tips to help for next year. Any questions I have she's able to answer. Like I said SHE'S THE BEST!

I’ve had H&R Block do my taxes 6 out of the last 8 years because it seemed like a good value, was convenient, and fast. This year I did the same and brought all my tax forms into this Aberdeen office. They called me at the end of the day and said everything was ready to be picked up, I asked how much I was getting back and they said “nothing, in fact you owe $1200 back to government”. I said no way that can be right and I asked them to check again, a mistake must have been made. They said nope it’s accurate, but when I insisted on a recheck they said “we won’t do that so you can come pick your records up and find someone else if you like”. Suggesting to find someone else to prepare my taxes was the single greatest thing H&R Block has done for me in 8 years. It took me 2 weeks to find a CPA who was able to accept new clients this late in the season but when I did he redid my taxes and was able to get $8500 returned to me federally for this last year but then he found an irregularity in the taxes H&R Block did last year and asked for the last 8 years of taxes H&R Block did and pointed out massive mistakes that cost me more than $20,000 over the last 8 years with H&R Block. I would trust a kindergartner to do my taxes before I ever go back to H&R Block. What a joke.

They help so very well and is kind, Considerate. And respectful, they take their time and try to get you a real descent amount back on your taxes. The work swift and very well Professional. They let you know what's going on and the details and what can be done to help. They are straight forward and I enjoy and like that about them.

After many years the staff is very familiar to me. I appreciate their focus, their attention to detail, just the way they go to business.
