Brookside Campground & Rafting

Brookside is great! Bob and Kathy are very kind and accommodating. They have a store on site with some supplies, firewood, etc. Bathhouse is very clean. Showers are on the small side, but have plenty of hot water and do the job.nnThe campground itself is just off the road, but you have to drive down an easy slope to get there, it's surrounded by trees, and traffic isn't bad at all, so road noise is practically nonexistent.nnA peaceful creek runs through the middle of the campground. We set our tent alongside it. Was great unzipping the door and seeing that first thing in the morning.nnSome sites have electric/water, others do not. Just let them know what you need when you book it. I think every site has a picnic table, which came in handy when it rained and we had to keep stuff off the ground.nnWill definitely return!

Great place! The hosts, Bob and Kathie are the best! Great raft rides!

They are the best of the best! Nothing fancy which is perfect for our family. Hookups are easy, sites are clean and extremely reasonable prices. Bob, kathie, and mitch are wonderful people that keep us coming back. We discovered brookside last year and have come 4 times since then. Wish we had found it sooner!

Kathie in the office was super helpful and accommodating as we came in late due to unexpected traffic delays. They waited up for us and even sent someone over to make sure we were all set. Immediately the neighbors offered light to help us set up and the next day another neighbor helped us with a fire. I really enjoyed the site next to the creek and loved how the bathrooms were within a short walk to the tent but not too close. Everything was clean and stocked up. It’s a bit dated but honestly that’s part of the charm. We’ll definitely be back!
