I’ve purchased a number of large items from DownEast Bountiful. Monica and her team have been beyond amazing! Phenomenal customer service, friendly, available to answer all questions, thorough, and on and on! The quality of the furniture and finish is beautiful, excellent craftsmanship, as good as other mainstream retailers (PB, WestElm, etc) but at a more reasonable price. Would recommend DownEast in a heartbeat! To add: their selection of clothing is also fun, quality, varied, priced well.

My wife purchased all new living room furniture and was super impressed. I went to go pick up the furniture to bring it home and Arnold one of the managers, helped check us out and even helped load the truck and trailer with all the furniture. He went up and beyond what I’m sure he’s expected to do and I was so impressed. Customer service here is amazing and this act alone with bring us back to shop for all our furniture needs. Definitely recommend downeast in bountiful!

EDIT: 9/1 I updated my review to three stars due to the the store manager, Monica, calling and offering varying solutions. I appreciate her willingness to let us vent our frustrations and also to try and quickly provide us with different ways to solve our problem. She was able to find us a similar sofa. Yay!! Thank you to Monica. My husband and I ordered a custom couch from Downeast in February with the expectation that it would arrive in 4 months- in June. I called multiple times in May to verify the delivery date and all were confirmed on June 8th. When June 8th arrived, there was no communication. I called and was told the date was now pushed back to August 31st due to covid. Why didn’t they let me know that before? After I proactively verified each week that August 31st was still the date of delivery, I was told when I contacted them, on 8/31, that now it is once again being it is pushed back till mid to end of September. Not once has Downeast contacted me. Their lack of communication has been beyond frustrating. Do not order from them or you will be left couchless for seven plus months!
