My family and I had an amazing experience at Old Rock Cafe yesterday! The staff were extremely friendly and all wore their face masks correctly. Their condiments are individually packaged as well as their silverware which seemed much more sanitary than other places we have been. The food was fantastic! My daughter got the turkey burger which was juicy and seasoned very well. Their chicken sandwiches and burgers are very well cooked and easily customizable. We got our food very quickly despite them being pretty busy. We got to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view of the river. We greatly enjoyed this experience and will happily return the next time we are in town.

The food was good and well-priced but what made this place stand out for me was the fact that they had a dog menu - and it was LEGIT. My pupper was treated to grilled chicken over a bed of brown rice with fresh peas... he was loving it. The staff were very kind and caring towards my family and my dog. It was a great experience.

Our food was really good. And it was a beautiful day to sit outside!nnI got the Portabello sandwich and it was delicious! The fried pickles were also good. A little different from normal because they were cut like fries.

Old Rock CafenWonderful little restaurant located right next to Chimney Rock State Park.nWe arrived a part of four on one of the days the park was closed so there were no lines. I'm sure the place must be busier on days the park is open.nYou take a menu as you enter and walk up to the counter to order your food. The prices are very reasonable and there is a good selection. The cashier gives you a number that you take to your table to wait for delivery. You have a choice of eating in side or out on their patio. We chose the patio to take advantage of the view of a beautiful trout stream.nThe food came quickly and the server was very attentive. Every one in my party enjoyed their selection. Personally I had the Ruben Sandwich which came with a side of the house chips. Other sides are available.nAfter your meal you can walk off the patio and enjoy the view of Chimney Rock and the falls above.

The burgers are amazing, including the plant-based burger. We ordered the bacon pimiento and the meatless burger. Would definitely eat here again. They offer vegan and GF options, for those with dietary restrictions.
