Nice neighborhood and hiking area. Come April and May to see the flowers. Jun and later, it looks like Arizona's hiking trails ud83dude01.
In May the trails are beautiful. As the summer wears on the dirt gets sandy and powdery and the plants beside the trail get pokey.
I enjoy this trail head, and there are a number of different entrances. You can choose how far you go - whether it be a mile or 5. During the spring, the flowers are beautiful and it smells like the East Side :)
I have been on the East coast for years..back here again..and am delighted to have a little paradise in which to walk upon;) Beautiful
Sage hills loop is over 12 miles long... but you only need to go about 300ft from the parking lot, where the best shots of flowers blooming are found
