Really clean but priced accordingly. It would be a 4-5 star other than one thing. Our complaint was that the site pads were oriented such that in the afternoon on a hot day your RV awning was worthless. If your door happened to open to the west, there was no way to block the sun. The only shaded area for us and the others adjacent to us was to find a 6-7 foot area behind the end of the unit and keep moving our chairs.
Our favorite family camping spot. We come back every summer.
Very very nice state park campground.nnThe Timbuktu campground is very nice, offering large sites with either full hook up or electric/ water hook or primitive “walk to” campsites.nnVery clean and well maintained. All sites are paved and mostly level.nnBeautiful views of the mountains. The fees are reasonable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely return here !nnFYI : No cell service way out there, use campgrounds free WiFi for calling though.
Clean concrete pads, but no shade yet. Otherwise beautiful park.
